EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A 35-year-old man wanted on an outstanding warrant was arrested in Horizon City last week during a traffic stop, according to Horizon City Police.
Sean Lawrence Payne was taken into custody around 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, after officers stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation in the 200 block of Horizon Crossing. During the stop, officers performed a routine warrant check and discovered Payne had an outstanding warrant for theft of property.
Payne was arrested at the scene and later booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. His bond was set at $1,500.
Authorities confirmed the charge is related to theft of property, though further details regarding the original case were not immediately released.
