GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 23-year-old Baltimore man, Kason Saddiq Hill, was arrested Sunday morning after allegedly robbing a woman of her phone during a confrontation, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

Around 6:00 a.m. on June 1, officers from the Eastern District responded to a strong-arm robbery reported in the 200 block of Ritchie Lane. The female victim told officers that a male acquaintance had forcibly taken her phone during the altercation.

Police quickly located Hill nearby, in the area of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and 8th Avenue. Hill admitted to discarding the stolen phone, but despite a search, officers were unable to recover the device.

Hill was taken into custody and formally charged in connection with the robbery. Authorities have not yet released details on the specific charges or his bond status.

The victim did not report any injuries, and it is currently unknown whether the stolen phone contained sensitive or personal information.
