In a major breakthrough, Nuh police dismantled an interstate vehicle theft racket on Friday, arresting two criminals, Nadeem and Haider, and recovering seven stolen motorcycles. The motorcycles were linked to thefts reported across multiple areas, including Delhi’s Prahladpur, Madhu Vihar, Adarsh Nagar, New Friends Colony, Gurgaon’s Sohna, and Faridabad’s Sector 58.
The stolen bikes had been part of several theft cases registered in these areas, and the accused had been operating for the past 7–8 years. They would steal vehicles from Delhi, Gurugram, Nuh, and Faridabad, hide them in remote locations, and later sell them.
The breakthrough came when a patrolling team received a tip-off about the criminals planning to sell the stolen bikes. Acting swiftly, a police team led by Inspector Subhash Kumar and Rozka Meo arrested Nadeem and Haider. During interrogation, both accused confessed to their involvement in the thefts.
A case has been registered against the two at Akeera police station, and they have been produced in court and taken into remand for further questioning. Police are continuing their investigation to identify more stolen vehicles and uncover the full extent of the racket.
