Isaac Kodsi Arrested for Hammer Robbery at BP Station

Lindenhurst man charged in Great Neck Plaza gas station theft

GREAT NECK PLAZA, N.Y. — A 37-year-old Lindenhurst man has been arrested following a robbery at a BP gas station in Great Neck Plaza on February 14, 2025, according to the Nassau County Police Department’s Sixth Squad.

Police say Isaac Kodsi, of 38 Piave Terrace, entered the BP Gas Station at 133 Cuttermill Road around 6:30 p.m., went behind the counter, and threatened the clerk with a hammer, demanding access to the cash register. He fled the scene with approximately $1,200 in cash before officers arrived.

Following a detailed investigation, detectives identified Kodsi as the suspect and arrested him without incident.

Kodsi is now facing several charges, including:

Robbery in the 1st Degree

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree

Menacing in the 3rd Degree

Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree

He is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
