DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) — Three people have been arrested in connection with a workshop burglary and vehicle theft in Decatur, Alabama.

The incident occurred on April 2, when Decatur Police responded to a report of a burglary at a workshop located on Stanley Street SE. Victims told officers that several items had been stolen and that a 2006 gray Lexus ES330 was missing from the property.

Following a week-long investigation, property crimes detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on Danville Road, where they recovered the stolen Lexus and multiple items taken from the workshop.

Two individuals, Natasha Broomfield and Anthony Moon Jr., were present during the search and were subsequently arrested. Both were charged with Receiving Stolen Property – 1st Degree and transported to the Morgan County Jail. Their bonds were set at $5,000 each, and Broomfield has since been released.

Detectives later identified Christopher John Ingram as the primary suspect in the original burglary and vehicle theft. Warrants for Burglary – 3rd Degree and Theft – 1st Degree were issued, and on Thursday, Ingram was taken into custody during a traffic stop.

He is currently being held in the Morgan County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

The Decatur Police Department continues to investigate and urges anyone with information to come forward.
