EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Amanda Sue Randolph, a 41-year-old woman, has been arrested in connection with a burglary of a building at a storage facility in far East El Paso, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
Randolph is facing charges of burglary of a building with a bond set at $10,000, and the Sheriff’s Office indicated that additional charges may follow.
On April 7, 2025, deputies responded to a report of a burglary at the Extra Space Storage facility, located at 851 Mission Ridge Dr. in far East El Paso. The incident involved the theft of property valued at more than $13,000. The suspect had unlawfully entered a storage unit and stolen boxes containing valuable items, including jewelry and watches.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Unit quickly took over the case and began their investigation. They identified a separate storage unit as potentially housing some of the stolen items.
With search warrants in hand, detectives conducted two searches, recovering 14 boxes of stolen property. Through further investigation, Randolph was identified as the suspect and subsequently arrested.
In addition to the stolen goods found in the storage unit, interviews with witnesses and persons of interest led detectives to a third search warrant for an apartment, where additional stolen property was recovered. Authorities also impounded a vehicle allegedly used in the commission of the crime. A fourth search warrant was executed on the vehicle, yielding further identifying information.
Randolph was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility, where she is being held.
