A 19-year-old man, Giovanni Arcos, was arrested and charged with attempted murder on Saturday morning, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call on the 500 block of Lionstone Drive at 10:52 a.m. When officers arrived, they heard an active disturbance and could partially see inside the home. They forced entry into the residence and moved the victim to safety.
Arcos was identified as the suspect and taken into custody. He is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder.
