NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. — A 29-year-old woman, Demetsia Pritchard, has been arrested on felony burglary and grand larceny charges after allegedly stealing from a Dollar Tree employee on Commercial Drive.
On February 23, police responded to a report from an employee who discovered her purse missing from a restricted break room. Investigators found that Pritchard entered the area, stole the victim’s wallet, and used the cash to make purchases inside the store.
Pritchard was arrested on March 27 and charged with:
Felony burglary
Felony grand larceny
Misdemeanor petit larceny
She was arraigned in New Hartford Town Court and is currently being held at the Oneida County Jail.
