Uber Driver Ramesh Chand Arrested for Indecent Act in Customer’s Home

West Hartford man charged with disorderly conduct in South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — An Uber driver was arrested on Friday, March 15, 2025, after allegedly masturbating in a customer’s bathroom, according to South Windsor police.

Incident Details
Authorities say Ramesh Chand, 33, of West Hartford, had just dropped off a customer when he asked to use the bathroom inside their residence. The customer agreed, but Chand allegedly entered on his own and was caught engaging in the indecent act.

Arrest and Charges
Chand later turned himself in to police, where he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 2, 2025.

Legal Proceedings
The case remains under investigation. Authorities encourage anyone with similar experiences or additional information to contact the South Windsor Police Department.
