A team from Basistha Police Station arrested Basanta Doley (40), a drug peddler, in Jayanagar, Guwahati. He was caught with 22 vials of heroin, weighing a total of 28.63 grams. The seizure comes as part of the ongoing efforts by local authorities to curb drug trafficking in the region.
