Three Arrested in Crane County After Stolen Items Recovered

The Crane County Sheriff’s Office Recovers Stolen Property, Arrests Three Individuals

On Friday, the Crane County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests after recovering a series of stolen items that were taken from Odessa. Deputies acted on a tip regarding stolen property at 430 Dottie Lane and discovered a range of items, including a stolen Ram 2500 pickup truck with a trailer, a U-Haul trailer, and a pressure water trailer.

All of the recovered property was confirmed to have been stolen from the Odessa area.

The investigation led to the arrests of three individuals: Carlos Hernandez, Cynthia Barragan, and Juan Ibarra. Hernandez and Barragan both face charges of Theft of Property between $150,000 and $300,000, Possession of Methamphetamine, Animal Cruelty, and Intentional or Knowing Unauthorized Discharge of Sewage. Ibarra has been charged with Theft of Property between $2,500 and $30,000, a state jail felony.

The three individuals were taken to the Crane County Law Enforcement Center. The investigation is ongoing as deputies work to further uncover details of the thefts.
