York County Contractor Charged After Allegedly Taking Money Without Completing Work

Justin Brown Accused of Deception and Theft in Home Improvement Scandal

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — A York County contractor has been charged with multiple offenses after allegedly taking money for a home improvement project without completing the work.

Justin Brown, 39, of New Cumberland, faces charges of false statement for home improvement, theft by deception, and harassment following an investigation by Fairview Township Police.

The victim reported that Brown was hired to complete a project at their home and paid him $7,500 to purchase necessary materials. However, Brown allegedly failed to perform any of the agreed-upon work and refused to return the money, according to police.

Brown was arrested on December 24, 2024, and is facing legal action as the investigation continues.
