Two Arrested for Burglary After Trespassing Incident in Saratoga County

Robert Vitale and Rebekah Arney charged with burglary and conspiracy

Saratoga County, NY (WRGB) — On Saturday afternoon, two individuals were arrested and charged with burglary following a trespassing call in Saratoga County. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call at 1:37 p.m. on Dunsbach Road, where they discovered that Robert P. Vitale, 63, of Middletown, and Rebekah L. Arney, 31, of Troy, had unlawfully entered and remained in a residence with the intent to commit a crime.

Both suspects were charged with:

Burglary in the 2nd degree (Class C felony)
Conspiracy in the 5th degree (Class A misdemeanor)
Additionally, Arney faced charges of stealing property from the residence.

The two were arraigned in the Halfmoon Town Court and remanded to Saratoga County Jail, where they await further proceedings.
