Armond Long Arrested for Identity Fraud in Gwinnett County

Gwinnett man charged with identity theft and forgery in Arizona case

Gwinnett County, Ga. – A 55-year-old man, Armond Long, has been arrested and charged with identity fraud and forgery in connection with a case involving stolen identity and attempted property sale in Arizona.

According to Gwinnett County police, the Lake Havasu City Police Department in Arizona contacted them about a suspect who had stolen someone’s identity and was attempting to sell the victim’s property. On Tuesday, Long met with an undercover officer in an attempt to finalize the sale, but was arrested.

Long faces two counts of identity theft and first-degree forgery. Gwinnett County police are asking anyone with information related to this case to contact them at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
