Two individuals were arrested within six hours for the murder of an Armed Reserve (AR) constable in Chilkanagar under Uppal police station limits on the night of March 15.
The deceased has been identified as Paruvula Sudheer Kumar (32), an AR constable and resident of RTC Colony, Chengicherla.
The accused have been named as:
Banothu Santosh alias Santhu (28), a bike-taxi rider from Uppal
Podishetty Tarun (22), a car driver from Uppal
Police acted swiftly following the incident, taking both suspects into custody within six hours of the crime. Investigations are ongoing to determine the motive behind the murder and any possible accomplices involved.
