Due to the seriousness of the case, the investigation team immediately arrested four suspects, who were produced in court and sent on two-day police remand. Intensive interrogation revealed the involvement of 10 more individuals. The accused confessed to multiple thefts across areas under Sadar Karnal and Nissing police stations.

All 13 arrested accused were produced in court on Sunday and sent to the district jail.
