Three Arrested in Ranchi Rs67 Lakh House Theft Case

Cash, bike, phones seized from Ormanjhi robbery suspects

The Ranchi Police arrested three individuals on Wednesday in connection with a high-value house theft in the Ormanjhi area of Ranchi district. The suspects allegedly stole cash and valuables worth over Rs67 lakh.

The arrested individuals are:

Mrityunjaya Kumar (25)

Paras Kumar Choudhary (23)

Harpreet Monty (38)

Police recovered rs61,500 in stolen cash, a motorcycle used in the crime, and four mobile phones from the accused.

Sashibhushan Choudhary, Ormanjhi police station in-charge, said, “Superintendent of Police (Rural) Praveen Pushkar formed a special team to investigate and solve the case.”

According to officials, Mrityunjaya Kumar was apprehended in Kokar, while Paras Kumar Choudhary and Harpreet Monty were arrested near BIT Mesra Station. Authorities are continuing investigations to recover any remaining stolen items and to determine if the suspects were involved in other criminal activities in the area.
