Two sisters have been arrested in Mobile, Alabama after police linked them to multiple retail theft incidents at local stores.

According to the Mobile Police Department, Amaney Nassar and Dianna Nassar are facing charges of organized retail theft and third-degree retail theft of property.

Investigators say the sisters were involved in theft incidents at a Walmart on Dawes Road as well as other retail locations in the area. The incidents reportedly occurred late last month and continued into the past week.

Police allege the suspects entered the stores, selected merchandise, and left without paying for the items.

Authorities later detained the sisters during a traffic stop. Following their arrest, officers said the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges may be filed.

Both Amaney and Dianna Nassar remain in custody and are scheduled to appear for a bond hearing on Friday, according to police.
