Police in Livermore made multiple arrests last week involving organized retail theft, DUI, and narcotics possession.

Officers responded to True Religion after a suspect exited the store and triggered the security alarm. They detained Josh Lastro, 38, of Modesto, and recovered stolen merchandise. Lastro was arrested on charges of organized retail theft with intent to sell, petty theft with two or more priors, and possession of burglary tools.

In a separate incident, officers stopped a driver at First and Scott streets suspected of DUI. Lester Silvaerazo, 22, of Oakland, was found to have cannabis, heroin, and fentanyl packaged for sale in his vehicle. He was arrested for driving under the influence and possession and purchase for sale of narcotics.
