In a swift breakthrough, Miyapur police have arrested two accused in connection with a chain snatching incident. The suspects allegedly stole a gold chain from a 36-year-old homemaker from Ramayampet, Medak district, who had come to Miyapur to meet her daughter.
The victim filed a complaint with Miyapur Police, and using technical evidence and surveillance inputs, authorities were able to identify and apprehend the suspects.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Abhay Kumar Dubey (30) and Akash Kumar Rajak, both of whom were working as food delivery agents in the city. Police traced their involvement through a pattern of similar activities.
The accused were produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
The incident highlights the need for vigilance and prompt police action in tackling street crimes. Authorities have advised residents to report suspicious activity immediately to ensure public safety.
