Kanak Choudhary Among 3 Held in Basistha Theft Case

Police recover batteries, tools in intelligence raid

A team from Basistha Police Station apprehended three alleged thieves during an intelligence-based operation linked to a recent theft case.

The accused have been identified as Kanak Choudhary (37) of Nayanpur, Anjan Deka (30) of Mukalmua, and Bhola Haldar (32) of Satgaon. Acting on specific inputs regarding their suspected involvement, police launched a targeted operation and took the trio into custody.

During the search, officers recovered two batteries, a mobile phone, a water valve, a hammer, a nail, and a hacksaw blade from their possession. All seized items have been taken into custody as evidence.

Police officials stated that further investigation is underway to determine whether the accused are linked to additional theft incidents in the area.
