by Sophia Bennett

JONESBORO, Ark. — Kaseem Annoor, 33, was arrested on Feb. 20 on suspicion of residential burglary and theft under $1,000 after allegedly breaking into an apartment on Ferrell Street earlier this year.

According to the Jonesboro Police Department, officers responded to a burglary call on Feb. 6 and found the apartment ransacked. The victim reported missing items included a dog, kennel, container, and a key fob, and said her vehicle had been moved.

Surveillance footage showed Annoor approaching the apartment around 1:30 a.m. and leaving with a container shortly afterward. Text messages from Annoor to the victim included admissions of “doing something he probably shouldn’t have,” while claiming he had not caused any damage.

Annoor missed two scheduled police interviews regarding the case. He is being held in the Craighead County Jail on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled for an April 23 arraignment in circuit court.
