A joint team of Special Operation Group, Surveillance and Cantt Police arrested four notorious burglars responsible for a jewellery shop theft near Ganganagar under the limits of Cantt Police Station.
Details of the Theft
The burglars broke the shop’s shutter on February 13 and stole gold and silver ornaments worth several lakhs. Police recovered:
450 grams of gold
1.8 kg of silver
Two bikes used during the crime
One sharp-edged weapon
Two accomplices are still being traced.
Arrested Accused
The arrested burglars are:
Gaurav Kanojia (24) – Attarsuiya
Bakridul Seikh alias Popo (21) – Jharkhand
Sameeul Seikh alias Chotu (20)
Parvez Alam alias Tauseef alias Nepali (21) – Kareli
All had criminal records. The FIR was registered under Sections 331(4), 305(A), and 317(2) of BNS.
