LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. — Two men are facing drug-related charges following arrests at Chief Logan State Park on Sunday, according to the West Virginia State Police Logan Detachment.
Troopers responded to the park after receiving information that a wanted individual might be on the property. Upon arrival, officers located two men identified as Ross Dingess and Christopher Brewster.
During the investigation, troopers said they discovered a significant amount of heroin and fentanyl in Dingess’ possession. He was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
Brewster was charged with simple possession of fentanyl.
Both men were taken to the Southwestern Regional Jail. Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
