Pinjore Police Arrest Ankur Dhiman in Hospital Theft

Laptop and mobile recovered from accused in Pinjore

Pinjore: Pinjore police have solved a hospital theft case by arresting Ankur Dhiman, alias Anku, and recovering a stolen HP laptop and Samsung mobile phone.

The case was reported on January 31 by Dr Prajesh Khera, proprietor of Khera Hospital, Pinjore, who stated that the theft had occurred during the night of December 21-22, 2025. Acting on the complaint, police registered a case under Section 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and launched an investigation.

A joint team of Pinjore police and Anti-Vehicle Theft (AVT) staff, Panchkula, acted on a tip-off and arrested Dhiman, a resident of Khadin village, Solan district, Himachal Pradesh. During interrogation, police recovered the stolen laptop and mobile from him. Following recovery, Section 317(2) of the BNS was added to the case.

The accused was produced before a court and remanded to 14 days of judicial custody before being sent to Central Jail, Ambala.
