Amit & Sumit Arrested for Stealing Temple Bells in Bulandshahr

11 stolen temple bells recovered from brothers

In a significant breakthrough, Bulandshahr police have arrested two brothers, Amit and Sumit, for their alleged involvement in a series of temple bell thefts across Bulandshahr and neighbouring districts.

According to Superintendent of Police (City) Shankar Prasad, the duo, residents of the Shikarpur police station area, carried out thefts at temples located in Kotwali Dehat, Khurja Nagar, and Chola areas of Bulandshahr, as well as in the Dadri police station area of Gautam Buddh Nagar district.

Police recovered 11 stolen temple bells from the brothers’ possession. Investigations are ongoing to determine if they were involved in additional thefts and to trace the potential buyers of the stolen items.

Authorities have assured temple authorities and local residents that steps are being taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
