In a swift operation, Delhi Police apprehended Laxmi Rani Bansal, a domestic help, in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, for allegedly stealing gold and diamond jewellery from her employer’s residence in Dwarka.

The theft came to light on January 22, after the employer filed a complaint. An e-FIR was registered at Sector-23 police station, Dwarka under relevant sections of the BNS. Investigation revealed that Bansal had gone missing from her rented accommodation shortly after the theft. Analysis of her call detail records indicated her travel to Madhya Pradesh.
