Kozhikode, Kerala: The Elathur police have arrested Vaisakhan, a resident of Thadampattuthazham, in connection with the alleged murder of his girlfriend earlier this month.
The woman was discovered dead inside Vaisakhan’s workshop in Malikkadavu, Elathur, on January 24. Authorities said Vaisakhan had called her to the workshop, allegedly convincing her that they would end their lives together.
The couple had reportedly been in a long-term relationship, during which the woman had been pressuring him to get married. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder and questioning the accused.
