Pardi, Gujarat: Pardi police arrested two men for transporting stolen iron bars valued at Rs 12 lakh during a midnight raid. Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a search at a godown in Umiya Colony.
The accused, Dilip Ramgopal Shahu (40) from Binaki and Salim Khan (36) from Kalmana, were found loading 4,000 kg of iron bars into a truck. They failed to produce any valid bills or documents, confirming the goods were stolen.
The entire consignment was seized by the police, and further investigation is underway to identify the source of the stolen property.
