Three Arrested for Rickshaw Loot in Sayajigunj

Victim threatened while waiting at bus stand

Sayajigunj Police arrested three individuals on Friday for allegedly looting a passenger waiting for a rickshaw near the bus stand on January 20.

According to authorities, the accused initially offered the victim a ride in their rickshaw and then threatened him before looting. The trio, identified as Rahul Rathod, Gautam Parmar, and Kavita Kale, then fled the scene.

Police records indicate that Rathod has previous cases of theft and loot registered against him in Sayajigunj and Jarod police stations. Kavita Kale also has a robbery case registered with Sayajigunj police.

The arrested accused are currently in police custody, and further investigation is underway to determine if they were involved in other similar incidents in the area.
