Three Arrested in Mani Majra Theft, Stolen Goods Recovered

Jewellery and appliances recovered from accused in Chandigarh

Chandigarh Police have apprehended three individuals involved in a series of thefts in the Mani Majra area, recovering stolen jewellery and household appliances in the process.

The arrests follow multiple burglary and theft reports from the neighborhood over the past several days. To track the suspects, police formed special investigation teams that analyzed CCTV footage, conducted raids at suspected hideouts, and deployed informers to gather intelligence.

The accused have been identified as:

Shamsher Singh (32) – resident of Mari Wala Town, Mani Majra

Shankar Rawat (30) – resident of Pipli Wala Town, Mani Majra

Karan alias Pepsi (23) – resident of Majri Chowk, Panchkula

Authorities confirmed that the stolen items, including jewellery and household appliances, were recovered during the raids. Police said further investigation is ongoing to determine if the accused were involved in other theft incidents in Chandigarh or nearby areas.
