Cornest Ugah Arrested with Rs5.15 Cr MDMA in Marathahalli

Nigerian national nabbed with 2.5 kg MDMA and 300 ecstasy pills

The Anti-Narcotics Wing of the Central Crime Branch arrested a 45-year-old Nigerian national, Cornest Oneyachi Ugah, on Tuesday after recovering 2.5 kg of MDMA and 300 ecstasy tablets valued at approximately Rs5.15 crore.

Based on a tip-off, a police team raided a house in Munekolala, Marathahalli, and apprehended Ugah with the synthetic drugs. Investigators revealed that Ugah is a habitual offender, previously involved in similar cases in the Hennur and Kadugodi police station limits.

Police have initiated further investigation to determine the network and sources of the synthetic drugs and possible connections to larger drug syndicates.
