Hunter Dylan Peters Arrested in East Texas Theft Case

Man accused of stealing $150K–$300K from elderly woman

LONGVIEW, Texas — Hunter Dylan Peters, 34, of Mount Enterprise, was arrested Monday in connection with a scheme that allegedly stole between $150,000 and $300,000 from an elderly woman over six months.

The arrest follows a Gregg County indictment issued September 4, 2025, charging Peters with property theft. According to the indictment, Peters unlawfully took the woman’s money between November 14, 2024, and April 14, 2025, using deceptive methods without her consent.

Peters’ bond has been set at $50,000, and he remains in the Gregg County Jail. His arraignment hearing is scheduled for January 30, 2026.
