RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. — A theft investigation in Riviera Beach escalated into a multi-charge arrest Saturday, according to records released by the Riviera Beach Police Department.
The suspect, identified as Diante Ahmad Robinson, was taken into custody in connection with Report No. 453020, which was published at 5:04 p.m. on December 28, 2025.
Police records show Robinson was arrested on suspicion of larceny classified as “other theft,” possession or use of drug paraphernalia, and resisting an officer without violence. Authorities did not provide additional details regarding the alleged theft, the property involved, or how the encounter developed into additional charges.
Officials also did not specify whether the incident occurred at a business or on private property. Robinson’s date of birth was not listed in the publicly available booking information.
Law enforcement officials note that routine theft calls can sometimes lead to broader investigations when officers encounter suspected narcotics-related evidence or resistance during an arrest.
As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations. Robinson is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
