SKYESVILLE, Md. (WBFF) — Carroll County deputies have arrested two women accused of stealing over $11,000 worth of merchandise from Ulta Beauty stores across Maryland.

The alleged theft occurred on Dec. 12, 2025, at the Ulta Beauty store on Ridge Road in Sykesville. Deputies were alerted that the suspects had fled in a black Infiniti, which a Sykesville police officer later spotted heading south on Route 32 toward Howard County. The vehicle’s temporary Maryland registration was noted, assisting investigators in tracking it to a Jessup residence.

Detectives from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office executed search warrants at the Jessup location and recovered stolen merchandise from the Sykesville Ulta, as well as items from other regional stores.

The suspects were identified as 23-year-old Dasjanae Teona Timmons, of Jessup, and 23-year-old Dahmira Monya Laboo, of Severn. Both were charged with theft ($1,500–$25,000) and organized retail theft, both felony offenses.

Timmons was arrested on Dec. 17, 2025, while Laboo was taken into custody in Severn on Wednesday. During Laboo’s arrest, she was found in possession of suspected Suboxone, a controlled substance, and charged with three counts of misdemeanor drug possession.

As of Friday, both women remain held without bond at the Carroll County Detention Center.
