Agamkuan Police Arrest Six in Robbery, Arms Cases

Five bike-borne robbers, one arms suspect held

On Thursday, Parichay Kumar addressed the media, announcing the arrest of six criminals in two separate cases involving robbery and illegal arms possession.

In a daring robbery on December 29 near a private hospital under Agamkuan police station, three bike-borne miscreants robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint, seizing his mobile phone and Rs 5,000. Police arrested Ayush Royal, Annu Kumar, Sunny Kumar, Lavkush Kumar, and Amit Kumar, recovering the stolen cash, a pistol, and two live cartridges.

In a separate incident, Raja Manjhi (25), with a prior record of theft and robbery, was arrested near LIG Colony following a tip-off. Police seized a pistol and one cartridge from him.

On a positive note, the SP, alongside Sadar ASP Abhinav Kumar, distributed 33 recovered cellphones to their rightful owners under Operation Muskaan to celebrate the New Year.
