Renisha Crews Arrested in Birmingham Robbery Case

Faces robbery and domestic violence charges

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Renisha Crews, 38, was arrested Wednesday on charges of first-degree robbery and third-degree domestic violence menacing, according to the Birmingham Police Department.

The incident occurred on Thursday, November 6, in the 1600 block of Brakewood Drive. Crews is currently in custody at the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
