3 Men Arrested for Armed Home Invasion in Florida

Posed as Amazon drivers to lure female victim at door

NORTH PORT, FL – Three men have been arrested after allegedly posing as Amazon delivery drivers to carry out a targeted armed home invasion in North Port, Florida.

The suspects—Robert St. Germain, Anton Bradley Brown, and Adlet Javon Francis—were taken into custody following the May 23 incident. According to the North Port Police Department, the men used Amazon vests and packages to trick a young female resident into opening the front door of the family’s home around 1:30 p.m.

Once the door was opened, the armed suspects forced their way in, holding the girl and her mother hostage while ransacking the house in search of cash and valuables. They waited inside until the father returned around 5 p.m. He was confronted at the back of the house, where a struggle occurred before the suspects fled.

One suspect later stole a Ford F-150 truck that had been left unlocked with the keys inside. The vehicle was recovered at a shopping center later that weekend.

Police determined the robbery was not random, stating that at least one of the suspects was known to the victims. Evidence left at the scene helped investigators identify the perpetrators.

Adlet Francis was arrested on July 12 on unrelated charges, while Germain and Brown were arrested more recently. All three face charges including conspiracy to commit home invasion, armed robbery, kidnapping, and use of a communication device to commit a felony. Brown also faces grand theft auto charges.

The suspects are being held in separate county jails across Florida. Authorities have not confirmed whether they have legal representation.

North Port Police Chief Todd Garrison commended detectives for their efforts, stating the arrests reflect the department’s “relentless commitment to justice.”
