Police arrested three individuals involved in drug peddling in Kupwara and Sopore, recovering significant amounts of contraband substances. Sameer Ahmad Zargar and Sachin Koul were apprehended in Geerhati Kupwara, with 7.13 grams of brown sugar-like substance seized from them. In Sopore, Javaid Ahmad Wani was arrested after 5 grams of heroin-like substance was found in his possession. Authorities have registered cases under the NDPS Act for further investigation.
