Police have apprehended three individuals, including two juveniles, in connection with the murder of a 16-year-old boy on Tuesday at Sarhali’s grain market. Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Pareek confirmed that the third accused is Jagleen Singh, also known as Harnoor or Noor Golan, a resident of Bhikhiwind. Authorities recovered the sharp weapons used in the crime.
A case has been filed under Sections 103, 191(3), and 190 of the BNS at Sarhali police station. The deceased and the two juveniles were students of the same private school and had a history of disputes and verbal fights over the past year. It is noteworthy that one juvenile is the son of a police officer.
While the exact motive remains unclear, police are investigating several angles, including a possible romantic conflict. All suspects are currently in custody following a court-granted remand.
