3 Arrested in Rasheed Moore Homicide Case in Albany

Suspects charged with murder and weapon possession

ALBANY, Ga. – Three men have been arrested in connection with the homicide of 24-year-old Rasheed Moore, who was fatally shot outside an Albany nightclub on August 16.

According to the Albany Police Department (APD), Charles Anthony Porter, 26, faces charges of murder and possession of a dangerous weapon. Anthony Hawkins and Shannon McClloyd, Jr. were also arrested and charged with possession of a dangerous weapon. Additional charges against Hawkins and McClloyd are pending as the investigation continues.

Police continue to investigate the case as they work to bring justice to the victim and his family.
