BATON ROUGE — Three individuals have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on August 4 in the 4100 block of Prescott Road, Baton Rouge Police confirmed.

The victims were reportedly driving when the driver dropped a phone between the seats. After pulling over to retrieve it, three armed suspects emerged from a nearby home and ordered everyone out of the car at gunpoint. The assailants then fled into the house, where Tniya Bass allegedly let them inside.

Based on descriptions from the victims, police identified Timothy Tyler Jr., Timothy Courtney, and Tniya Bass as suspects. Tyler and Courtney were picked out of a photo lineup, prompting arrest warrants.

On August 20, detectives located the suspects outside the same Prescott Road home. A pursuit ensued when the suspects fled in a vehicle, which ended at the Pine Square Apartments on Dougherty Drive.

Bass was arrested immediately. Tyler and Courtney reportedly entered an apartment without permission but were later found and arrested with the help of a search warrant.

Tniya Bass faces charges of accessory after the fact and resisting an officer.

Timothy Tyler Jr. and Timothy Courtney are charged with armed robbery, use of a firearm, resisting an officer, and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.

Police are continuing the investigation.
