On Friday, police arrested 28-year-old Abdul Sanoof, a native of Thrissur, in connection with the murder of a woman in a hotel room at Eranhipalam, Kozhikode. Sanoof, who had been on the run since November 25, was apprehended in Chennai after a post-mortem report revealed that suffocation was the cause of the victim’s death.
