A 24-year-old man, Kishan Madheshiya, was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly murdering his elder brother, Sandeep Madheshiya, during a dispute over money in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh.
The tragic incident occurred on Monday night in the Shyamdeurwa area when Kishan and Sandeep engaged in a heated argument over financial matters. As the disagreement intensified, Kishan, who was reportedly drunk at the time, stabbed his brother with a knife, leading to his death, said Additional Superintendent of Police Atish Kumar Singh.
The police quickly apprehended Kishan, who is now facing charges in connection with the brutal killing.
