A 17-year-old, Crystopher Issak Perez, was arrested Thursday morning in Jackson County following a traffic stop that uncovered multiple drugs and weapons.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) reported that Perez was taken into custody in east Jackson on charges including possession of Schedule II drugs with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug-related paraphernalia, reckless driving, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm while under the age of 21.
Officials also noted that Perez faces various additional drug and traffic-related charges as part of the investigation.
