KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Ten people have been arrested as part of a Kissimmee Police Department (KPD) operation targeting drug trafficking near schools and daycares, officials announced Thursday.
The two-month investigation, named “Operation The Wall,” focused on the area of Cypress and Main Streets, just north of downtown Kissimmee. The location, commonly referred to as “The Wall” by drug dealers and buyers, is situated behind a retail plaza and lies within 1,000 feet of schools such as Main Street High School and Freedomland Christian Academy.
KPD worked closely with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, KPD’s Tactical Police Unit, and the Patrol Division, conducting undercover surveillance that led to a series of coordinated arrests. The suspects are accused of selling fentanyl and cocaine in protected zones, which carry enhanced felony charges and mandatory minimum prison sentences under Florida law.
The following individuals were arrested:
John Leslie Dyson, 56
Jenifer Walters, 42
Jocelyn Vargas, 50
Oscar Lamont Redding, 50
John Watkins, 66
Malachi Thomas, 27
Nathaniel Hamilton, 60
Remer Baker III, 44
Cloko Stoudemire, 65

Each faces charges related to drug sales and delivery within 1,000 feet of a school or daycare.
Police Chief Charles Broadway commended the efforts of all involved, stating:
“We’re focused on keeping our neighborhoods safe and protecting families. Working together with our partner agencies and members of the community strengthens our efforts and benefits everyone in Kissimmee.”
The operation underscores KPD’s ongoing commitment to removing drug activity from vulnerable areas and protecting children and families across the city.
