Tigard, OR – A targeted retail theft mission led to ten arrests in Tigard, as police cracked down on shoplifting and related crimes during a one-day operation at a local Target store.
The Tigard Police Department’s Commercial Crimes Unit conducted the mission on March 28 at the Target on Southwest Hall Boulevard. Officers collaborated closely with the store’s loss prevention team to apprehend suspects.
Over the course of the operation, police recovered 37 stolen items totaling more than $600 in value.
Three individuals — Zia Iqbal Ahmad, Patricia Trumper, and Alexandra Lee — were booked into jail. Another three suspects were minors and referred to the juvenile department. The remaining four adults were cited and released.
This operation is part of an ongoing effort by Tigard Police to curb theft, shoplifting, and other retail crimes. The Commercial Crimes Unit regularly conducts similar missions throughout the year.
