The investigation into the high-profile Ganeshpara robbery case is progressing, with police reporting key developments in the matter.
Fatasil police have arrested two suspects, identified as Zeherul Haque and Ratul Malik, from Vella in Barpeta district.
According to officials, the arrested individuals have provided crucial information related to the robbery gang, helping investigators piece together the sequence of events.
Preliminary findings suggest that a total of six individuals were involved in executing the robbery. While two suspects are now in custody, four others remain absconding and are yet to be tracked down by the police.
Authorities also confirmed that the vehicle used in the crime has not yet been recovered. Additionally, the stolen items, including cash, are still missing.
The two arrested accused are scheduled to be produced before a court as the investigation continues to unfold, with police intensifying efforts to locate the remaining suspects.
