TEMPLE, Texas — An 18-year-old Temple man, Zamarrion Chambers, was arrested on Friday after allegedly stealing a firearm from a residence three weeks ago. Chambers was taken into custody by the Temple Police Department after a warrant for his arrest was issued.
The alleged incident took place on December 16, when Temple Police responded to a robbery report in the 4100 block of West Adams Avenue. According to authorities, Chambers visited the residence and asked to see the victim’s gun. After taking the weapon, Chambers allegedly pointed it at the victim and told them he was taking it, before leaving the scene.
Chambers was charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony. He remained in the Bell County Jail as of Monday evening, with a bond set at $100,000.
This is Chambers’ first felony charge, though his record shows prior misdemeanor arrests. He was previously arrested in April 2024 on charges of criminal trespass, possession of marijuana, and evading arrest. Chambers has a plea hearing for those charges scheduled for January 17.
No trial date has been set for the aggravated robbery charge at this time.
