Kochi City Police’s District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF) arrested three individuals during two early morning raids on July 10, 2025. Among those detained was Rincy Mumtaz, a popular woman YouTuber from Kozhikode, who was allegedly using her social media profile to distribute drugs.
Rincy and her partner, Yasar Arafath, 34, were caught near Palachuvadu in Kakkanad with approximately 20.55 grams of suspected MDMA. Police confirmed that the two were involved together in the drug trade. The investigation is ongoing to identify further networks linked to this case.
